Darbee Callanan Grass

I am a senior at Foothill, it is my third year of the GRAFX pathway and I greatly appreciate the career valuable skills it has provided me with. I am in the advanced level of the program and my growth since I started in the art is visible and excites me to see. Although not incredibly obvious, I am very inspired by Shepard Fairey and Paula Scher as their often simplistic designs effectively create recognizable brand identities. Many of my designs try to emulate their clean and geometric styles. I have felt for many years that graphic design is the most direct way to make my creativity tangible, although learning Adobe programs can feel like learning a new language, I stand by my initial thoughts and adore this resource for expression.
